a. Education
---------------------------
“Give me just one generation of youth, and I'll transform the whole world.” - Vladimir Lenin
“Schools train people to be ignorant, with style. They give you the equipment that you need to be a functional ignoramus. American schools do not equip you to deal with things like logic; they don't give you the criteria by which to judge between good and bad in any medium or format; and they prepare you to be a usable victim for military-industrial complex that needs manpower. As long as you're just smart enough to do a job and just dumb enough to swallow what they feed you you're going to be alright. But if you go beyond that you're going to have these grave doubts that give you stomach problems, headaches, make you want to go out and do something else. So I believe that schools mechanically and very specifically try and breed out any hint of any creative thought in the kids that are coming out.” - Frank Zappa
”Ripping off a gas station is better than working at one.” - Stand and Deliver
"Interviewer: Can you name 3 counties?
Teenage Girl: Canada. Arkansas. North Carolina.
Interviewer: How many dimes make a dollar?
Teenage Girl: 20
Interviewer: When I tell you it’s a quarter past 2, what time is it?
Teenage Girl: 4
Interviewer: Can you name 3 Kardashian sisters?
Teenage Girl: Chloe, Kim, Kendall
Interviewer: Do you see exactly what the fuck I’m talking about?! Do you see what the agenda is? Are you woken up now? Do you get it?" - Unknown
"You learn who you are by unlearning who they taught you to be." - Unknown
im·print - verb - /imˈprint/ - (of a young animal) come to recognize (another animal, person, or thing) as a parent or other object of habitual trust. Based on Latin imprimere, from in- ‘into’ + premere ‘to press’.
Imprinting is a simple yet profound and highly effective learning process that occurs during a critical period in the life of some animals. Humans are no different. The first two things we teach our children are:
1) we live on a globe (see Chapter 2) and
2) dinosaurs roamed the earth for millions of years (see Chapter 1)
That's not by accident. It's unbelievably hard to debate a topic that's been imprinted onto someone. Imprinting works both ways. We can be imprinted with earthly things. But we can also be imprinted with Godly things.
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6 KJV
"For I will speak to you in a parable. I will teach you hidden lessons from our past— stories we have heard and known, stories our ancestors handed down to us. We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders." - Psalm 78:2-4 KJV
ped·a·go·gy - the method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or theoretical concept.
Each generation of kids is becoming _less_ intelligent, not more. How do I know this? Because the mind is a muscle, and if you don't make it work, it weakens and atrophies. Case in point:
- Navigation - People can no longer navigate without the help of a cell phone. Most can't find N, S, E, or W without looking at the phone. They don't know where the sun rises or sets. And nighttime using the stars? Forget it.
- Math - People no longer have any number sense. Doing quick mental math is a skill that is only becoming more important. Now, everyone has a calculator in their pocket, and they're afraid they will look stupid when they can't keep up. So rather than checking the numbers mentally, they just agree so they don't look slow.
- Writing - Online dictionaries are being rewritten on a daily basis. People forget what words mean. Now with ChatGPT, we will soon lose our ability to write basic text to get our ideas across. Everything is being outsourced to the content-moderated woke establishment, so rebellion is effectively impossible.
The same concept applies in reverse as well. When I look back at previous generations they were more effective people:
- Mechanics - My dad and grandfather could rebuild an engine by hand. They could weld, and do basic carpentry and electrical work.
- Gardening - They knew how to grow fruits and vegetables, drill a water well, and live off the land.
- Cooking - My grandma could cook a meal from scratch that tastes better than any 5-star restaurant today.
These skills are lost arts, and that is by design.
b. Public School
---------------------------
"The education of all children, from the moment they can get along with out a mother's care, shall be in state institutions at state expense." - Karl Marx, Communist Manifesto
"I believe the Primary Role of the State is to Teach, Train and Raise Children. Parents have a Secondary Role." - Hillary Clinton, It Takes a Village
"Did YOU have a blackboard rubber thrown at you in school any time in the 1960s, 70s or 80s?... If so, you may be entitled to compensation. YES! If you experienced corporal punishment at school when it was used as a means of enforcing discipline, you could claim $$'s!
- Made to stand in the comer?
- Given the BIG slipper?
- Rulered on the hand?
- Forced to wear dunce's hat?
- Had to sit in silence for hours?
- Bent over for the cane?
- Twisted on the ear?
DON'T DELAY! CLAIM NOW!" - Unknown
"If you want to see the poor remain poor, generation after generation, just keep the standards low in their schools and make excuses for their academic shortcomings and personal misbehavior. But please don't congratulate yourself on your compassion." - Thomas Sowell
"I don't want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers!" - John D. Rockefeller
"In the school system they don't want us to learn about money because they just want to pump out good employees that do what they're told. I mean if you look at school it's opposite of what it takes to be successful in real life. Don't make a mistake, do as you're told, take tests by yourself and don't cooperate, and there's only one right answer... I think the school system is criminal that it kills a child's spirit of learning then the teacher says sit down and shut up. We don't care what you're interested in." - Unknown
"A society is in decay, final or transitional, when common sense really becomes uncommon." - Gilbert K. Chesterton
"It's an universal law - intolerance is the first sign of an inadequate education. An ill-educated person behaves with arrogant impatience, whereas truly profound education breeds humility." - Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn
It’s why The Trivium is no longer a fundamental part of the educational curriculum. They don’t want a public who is trained in Logic, Reason, and Rhetoric. They want mindless serfs beholden to the State.
"I was early taught to work as well as play,
My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play—
I dropped the worry on the way—
And God was good to me everyday." - Unknown
“Belief: School is an intelligence test.
Reality: School is an obedience test.” - Unknown
“Public school is free because you are the product.” - Unknown
“Do you want to stop this thing flat out? Pass a law that states you don't have to pay school taxes if you home-school (or private school). If their money is threatened, you'll see this woke sh!t end.” - Unknown
“We should give all families a choice between the following:
- A K-12 government school education
- $190,000 cash” - Unknown
"Only a fool would let their enemies teach their children..." - Malcolm X
"Those who can’t do... teach." - Unknown
“Has anyone ever considered we have been trained to be obedient slaves since elementary school? Stand in line. Eat at 11. Can only have one lunch. Sit in assigned seats. Only write in pen. Assembly hall be quiet. Why exactly?” - Unknown
Forced schooling started in Prussia in 1819 with a clear vision of what centralized schools could deliver.
- Obedient soldiers to the army
- Obedient workers for the mines
- Well-subordinated civil servants to government
- Well-subordinated clerks to industry
"If children started school at six months old and their teachers gave them walking lessons, within a single generation people would come to believe that humans couldn't learn to walk without going to school." - Geoff Graham
“Stop calling them "public" schools. They aren't open to the public. They aren't accountable to the public. The government runs them. The government funds them. The government compels them. They are government schools.” - Unknown
Homework is a psyop designed to assimilate your children to the idea that they must serve the institution that clamps them to a desk all day beyond the hours they're obligated to sit at said desk. Italian communist Antonio Gramsci invented homework as a "second shift" of school to keep kids away from their parents as much as possible. Gramsci thought this was the only way to break capitalist culture.
“All school teaches is how to tell people what they want to hear, which requires zero actual thinking.” - Unknown
"Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standard which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame." - The Stolen Journals
c. Academia/University
---------------------------
"If ignorance is a disease, Harvard Yard is the Wuhan wet market." - Bill Maher, host of HBO's 'Real Time'
"idea pathogens on university campuses fall into several large categories.
- Postmodernism posits that all knowledge is relative (no objective truths).
- Social constructivism proposes that the great majority of human behaviors, desires, and preferences are formed not by human nature or our biological heritage but by society, which means, among other things, that there are no biologically determined sex differences, but only culturally imposed "gender roles."
- Radical feminism asserts that these gender roles are due to patriarchy's nebulous and nefarious forces.
- Transgender activism purports that biological sex and "gender" are non-binary fluid constructs. Scientifically speaking, postmodernism, social constructivism, radical feminism, and transgender activism are all based on demonstrable falsehoods." - Unknown
“From time to time instances will arise in which the society, or segments of it, threaten the very mission of the university and its values of free inquiry. In such a crisis, it becomes the obligation of the university as an institution to oppose such measures and actively to defend its interests and its values." - Harry Kalven, Jr., University of Chicago 1967
“As has been said on here before, the solution is simple: Let the colleges lend the tuition fees to the students. If graduates can't find jobs to repay the loans, then the colleges will have to re-think the courses that they offer.” Unknown, on getting rid of degrees that lead to low-paying jobs
"Dear fellow white people, a word of advice: LIE. This goes double for you Asians because you are considered "white-adjacent" (which, if I was you, I would consider one of the most insulting things I could imagine). It's time to LIE YOUR *** OFF. Once you are in it's a ****-ton harder to throw you out again. LIE. Don't know how to write a racial discrimination impact essay? Have ChatGPT do it for you. LIE LIKE A ******* RUG." - Unknown, on Elite Universities looking for workarounds to maintain diversity after the Supreme Court decision to prohibit colleges that receive federal funds from discriminating "on the ground of race, color, or national origin."
"The rich already [lie to get into elite universities]. Want to take the SAT over 4 weekends, with 4 hours allocated each weekend to get that perfect score? Yes you can even memorize the questions (aka, write it down on a piece of paper) and take it to your tutor! All you need is mommy and daddy to get a doctor to write you up with ADHD! Only $5k (i’m dead serious) Want to get into a top university? Hire a college admissions counselor! They'll write your papers for you, lie about all the extracurriculars only a daddy with $10 million could afford, and maybe even say youre LGBTQ+ for extra brownie point! (again, I am dead serious) Why do people think this country is run by idiots? Because it literally is a self perpetuating class system, that has utterly destroyed all social mobility. I went to school with Evan Spiegel (founder of Snapchat), Jack Black, Jonah Hill, Zoe Deschanel, etc. That school cost $50k per year to attend. Basically everyone that went to that school is now in the top 1%, even if they were ******* idiots in HS. Why? Connections & wealth. Those Forbes articles of top 30 under 30, literally every single one of those are people who grew up in the 1%, and through connections and all the benefits that being in that class gets you, were seeded into top positions at all the top firms in this country. There is no "work hard, study hard, make it" in America. 99.999% that do this will never ever ever be in the top echelon in the US. That is reserved for people like Warren Buffet, etc. People whose dads and moms worked in top positions in the government, banks, etc. How do you think those same people someone all went to Harvard, Stanford, Yale, MIT, etc? Because being poor in America is a literal death sentence. My wife was poor, like mom and dad divorced, made $30k per year, and didnt even want to pay for her applications for college. It took her aunt, me, and basically luck for her to attend an Ivy, and there she literally flourished and academically was in the top 0.01% of our class. And she got a JD/PhD, and graduated with $50k in debt, which once again, thanks to me, was paid off. But imagine you werent lucky: you wont even be able to apply to college. You wont even be able to afford the living expenses even with a full scholarship (or you will, but will go into massive debt) The system is so out of touch, so whacky in the US right now, I could go on an on about academia, how its failed the children, how it allows only the top 1% and their children to succeed, etc etc etc." - Unknown
"I was educated once - it took me years to get over it." - Mark Twain
"It's horrible. I feel so fake. I'm not learning anything, except to write things I don't believe." - Mia quoted in The Epoch Times.
One hundred years ago, college-educated elites could speak multiple languages, recite memorized poems, and tell you about history, geography, geopolitics, and at minimum, the basics of the Western canon. What can the "educated" elite do now?
“Because the left cannot compete on resources, they compete on status through degrees, certifications, and titles. Most women can see right through this. Therefore they seek to undermine the fitness indicator of wealth.” - Unknown
"I'm a college dropout, yet I'm comfortable debating economics and foreign policy vs. any Harvard or Yale graduate or student. This isn't a brag. You have to realize they don't teach knowledge at elite academia. They teach ideology." - Unknown
"People who spent their whole life in academia never really left the kindergarten. And like all kindergarten brats, they think food comes from heaven, the teacher's word is final, and they all know what's best for the world..." - Unknown
“College degrees are more of a black eye than a feather in your cap these days.” - Unknown
"Where most men work for degrees after their names, we work for one before our names: 'St.' It's much more difficult to attain. It takes a lifetime and you don't get your diploma until you're dead." - Mother Angelica
d. Home School
---------------------------
"The left doesn't reproduce in the bedroom, but in the classroom. Get your kids out of government schools. Christian kids need a Christian education." - @Eric Conn
“Weekend encouragement:
1970s - 13,000 homeschoolers
1980s - 200,000 homeschoolers
1990s - 850,000 homeschoolers
2000s - 1,500,000 homeschoolers
2010s - 1,700,000 homeschoolers
2020s - 5,000,000 homeschoolers” - Unknown
“Devil: Your not strong enough to withstand this storm.
Homeschool mom: You're.” - thisisfoster
"Homeschooling isn't an 'experiment.' People were learning at home for thousands of years. Government schooling is the experiment. And that experiment is in trouble." - deangeliscorey
e. Critical Thinking
---------------------------
"No one will give you the education you need to overthrow them." - Unknown
“Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.” - Isaac Asimov
"Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They've long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls. They got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying. Lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don't want. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that. That doesn't help them. That's against their interests." – George Carlin on The American Dream
“When we become aware of how the school system is a conditioning agent to instill in children obedience to authority, passivity, and tolerance to tedium for the sake of external rewards, we begin to question school performance as a metric of well-being. Maybe a healthy child is one who resists schooling and standardization, not one who excels at it.” - Unknown
“Note to self:
Most of the behaviors you were rewarded for in school will punish you later in life.
Most of the behaviors you were punished for in school will reward you later in life.
You have to debug the software the education system has written in your head.” - Unknown
