Ch 6.1 - Reality/Simulation
"Evil grows when people lose the ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy." - Unknown
Narrative: You live inside a video game on someone else's computer that has been played an infinite number of times. 1972 Pong, 1989 Sim City, 2009 Minecraft, and soon between AI and quantum computers, your entire consciousness can be downloaded to a machine if it hasn't been already.

a. Simulation/Reality
---------------------------
"Don’t be fooled by the internet. It’s cool to get on the computer but don’t let the computer get on you. It’s cool to use the computer. Don’t let the computer use you. You all saw the matrix. There’s a war going on. The battlefield is in the mind and the prize is your soul. So just be careful." - Prince on YouTube
"We accept the reality of the world with which we’ve been given. It’s as simple as that." - Truman show
When you are in the bubble, it is hard to see outside of it. It's the nature of momentum and pride.
"Soon he will be shown something that perfectly fulfills his most hidden and cherished desires, desires he has never fulfilled. Unable to resist the chance to do it at last he enters by a golden door into eternal captivity.” - How Do They Get Our Souls? Whitney Streiber’s The Key
"Here's an idea on why you're in a simulation. When a two year old screams the entire restaurant screams 'teach that kid how to act!' We're all unpaid actors in some giant script that we didn't write. Simulation. A two year old jumps on a coffee table and someone says 'that's a coffee table, don't jump on that.' And it went from something that makes him feel like Superman and he's got his cape on to something where this person is like a family member he doesn't like anyway. He's two years old. He doesn't give a f*ck about a coffee or a table. And he's starting to like calculate all these things. And by the time you're 40 years old you got a wall full of coffee tables. Calculating you into traffic. Calculating you into your career choice. Calculating you into a townhouse. That's the simulation I'm talking." - Kanye West to Jimmy Kimmel on the Simulation we've created for ourselves
You are a fish in a fishbowl. The fish tries to understand the waterfall, scuba man, and one-way glass and has no hope with the tools and reality it is given.
"Technology doesn't just do things for us. It does things to us, changing not just what we do, but who we are." - Sherry Turkle
"It is okay to own a technology, what is not okay is to be owned by technology." - Abhijit Naskar, Mucize Insan: When The World is Family
"Are you using your device or is your device using you?" - Denzel Washington
Living in our reality is like playing a game against an expert player without knowing the rules. And the fate of your eternal soul is determined when the game is over, and you die.
"You are what you think." - Unknown
"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he." - Proverbs 23:7 KJV
"You know, I know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss." - Cypher, The Matrix
“In the matrix learning is for beginners. Unlearning is for professionals. Re-learning is for experts.” - Unknown
"In the future... A man masterbates furiously to images on a computer screen. He doesn't know whether or not the women in the videos are real or AI generated. But the scrapes and blisters from where his elbow rubs on the wall of his tiny sleeping cubicle are certainly real. The next day he goes to the department of pharmaceuticals and is refused treatment until he gets the most recent booster. It's been days since his last shot. The shot administered, he is seen by a robot physician. Before his injuries are examined he is confronted with the evidence he had been viewing heterosexual p*rn and is assigned to a re education camp in lieu of treatment for his wounds." - Unknown
"Sometimes that grass is greener on the other side because it's fake." - Unknown
"The strongest argument for us being in a simulation, probably being in a simulation, is the following: 40 years ago, we had Pong, two rectangles and a dot…That is what games were. Now, 40 years later, we have photorealistic 3D simulations with millions of people playing simultaneously, and it's getting better every year. And soon, we'll have virtual reality and augmented reality. If you assume any rate of improvement at all, the games will become indistinguishable from reality. Even if that rate of advancement drops to a 1,000th of what it is right now, then you just say, let's imagine it's 10,000 years in the future, which is nothing in the evolutionary scale." - Elon Musk (June 2016 | Source)
"Given that, we're clearly on a trajectory to have games that are indistinguishable from reality, and those games could be played on any set-top box or any PC, and their would probably be billions of computer or set-top boxes, it would seem to follow that the odds we are in base reality are one in billions." - Elon Musk, June 2016
"Arguably, we should hope that's true [that we're living in a simulation]. Because otherwise, if civilization stops advancing, that may be due to some calamitous event that erases civilization. So maybe we should be hopeful that this is a simulation because otherwise we are going to create civilizations that are indistinguishable from reality, or civilization will cease to exist." - Elon Musk, June 2016
"The absence of any noticeable life may be an argument in favour of us being in a simulation. Like when you're playing an adventure game, and you can see the stars in the background, but you can't ever get there. If it's not a simulation, then maybe we're in a lab, and there's some advanced alien civilisation that's just watching how we develop, out of curiosity, like mold in a petri dish." - Elon Musk, Sep 2014
"If you look at our current technology level, something strange has to happen to civilizations, and I mean strange in a bad way. And it could be that there are a whole lot of dead, one-planet civilizations." - Elon Musk, Sep 2014
"I think most likely — this is just about probability — there are many, many simulations, you might as well call them reality, or you could call them multiverse." - Elon Musk
"Why would you make a simulation that's boring? You'd make a simulation that's way more interesting than base reality, distillation[s] of what's interesting about life." - Elon Musk
"Either we're going to create simulations that are indistinguishable from reality or civilization will cease to exist, those are the two options." - Unknown
“Computer scientists think we live in a simulation.
Ecologists think we live in an organism.
Manufacturing workers believe we live in a machine.
Carpenters think we live in an artifact.
Meditators think we live in a mind.
What you do shapes your model of reality.” - Unknown
“What would you do if you were an all-knowing immortal cloud of souls merged together with unlimited energy and time to create whatever you want? I would make a simulation to escape the cloud, build new knowledge, and experience life as an individual without knowing my origin.” - Unknown
"What if life is a crazy trip and when you die, you wake up as an alien holding a bong with your friends surrounding you asking if you felt it." - Unknown
"Dreams make good stories. But everything important happens when we’re awake." -Duncan Idaho, Dune
"This is the best of all possible universes. The Gnostics believed this physical realm was created by a fallen deity to trap sparks of light (souls) in a physical realm to suffer eternal until they can find their way back to the Light." - Unknown
"Am I this body or is this body me?" - Unknown
"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." - Unknown
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” - Jeremiah 1:5 KJV
"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." - 1 John 3:1-3 KJV
"I just think about sickness, cancer in children, earthquakes, war, painful death. Death, just death. If these things are just part of our natural environment why do we think of them as evil? Why do they horrify us so?... unless we were meant for someplace else." - Unknown
"If the kingdom of heaven is not of this earth, then what is this earth?" - Luke 4:5 KJV
The simulation doesn't run on human body heat and fusion. It doesn't even run on a computer. It runs on the spiritual energy and blood of real human beings.
"I don't know sh*t about organ donation. I know a lot about snatching organs. There's a difference. It ain't us in the ghetto. It ain't wealthy kids. Who's in high demand is the children in the suburbs. 16 years to 19 years old. If you one of them listen up! It meets this category. Are you in back of your room right now? On the internet doing f*cking nothing? I've been trying to speak to y'all on this app and on my platforms for a while, but y'all not hearing me. There are rich, wealthy people right now that see your name that you are on their list. And they get the scumbags that look just like me from the hood to come snatch your little ass up. So it is real wealthy rich people... for real wealthy that think you are worthless alive. You are wasting space. Wasting the economy. They really talk like this. Get up! Go do something! Get off the internet. So your name can get off the internet." - Unknown
b. Nature
---------------------------
Satan Rules this world. It isn't a simulation. It's a test. You are given ample opportunity to choose not to live eternity away from God.
Which one is more real? Which one makes more sense? When you see a bird, you can sense the life inside it. You can feel the spiritual energy inside living creatures. And there is something special about humans. We can change the world around us—our consciousness and energy shape our world and the entire universe. When we put energy into something, it becomes a reality.
How do you know what is real? The easiest things to fake come from a screen. A tv screen, a phone, and a computer aren't the real world. They can manipulate what you see on a screen down to the pixel. The hardest things to fake are what you see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears away from the screen. And the farthest thing from a screen is nature. They can't easily fake the bird singing in the tree or the squirrel chewing an acorn. If you seek truth, look to nature. That's the closest you'll get because seeing is no longer believing.
“20 years ago, the internet was an escape from the real world. Now, the real world is an escape from the internet.” - Unknown
"The closer you get to nature the further you are from idiots." - Unknown
“There is no Wi-Fi in the forest, but I promise you will find a better connection.” - Unknown
"Do more things that make you forget to check your phone." - Unknown
