a. Boomers
--------------------------
"Three things to remember when you get older: never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a fart." - The Bucket List
"Not all Boomers (myself included) are mindless zombies who watch televised dog****. People of my generation didn't have information at our fingertips, as the internet wasn't unveiled until we were in our mid-40s. We were still a fairly high trust low crime society, and still had some faith in our 'elected' over-seers. So stop trying to foment more division by targeting and fanning generational warfare." - Unknown
"Hey, Here's one of the not yet dead boomers. A couple quick points, snowflake:
- Boomers respected prior generations as all Americans had historically
- The boomer gen was the most recent to face a military draft. We passed the physical in the 70th percentile as I understand (this as a old navy man and federal service academy grad). The most recent group had a 70% failure rate.
- Finally, Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the Highest and Peace to those He favor" - Unknown
"As a Boomer, I grew up green. No plastic bags. All soft drinks in glass bottles or steel cans that rusted away. Our garbage cans were galvanized steel. Fast food used exclusively paper products. Even motor oil came in cardboard cans with steel ends. We lined our kitchen garbage pail with the paper bags from the grocery store and used paper bags to make book covers for text books." - Unknown
"'Poor old fool,' thought the well-dressed gentleman as he watched an old man fish in a puddle outside a pub. So he invited the old man inside for a drink. As they sipped their whiskeys, the gentleman thought he’d humor the old man and asked, 'So how many have you caught today?' The old man replied, 'You’re the eighth.'" - Unknown
"Like me, you're probably in the second half of your life now. We can afford to be hard line. We don't need career advancement, nor do we yearn to travel. Have compassion for the young, whose lives are being stolen. By our peers, whom we have lazily allowed to take over control of the world. Basically the way things are is our fault. Sitting here and playing holier-than-art-thou is seriously uncool. We should be hard at work, not dropping out, but fixing this world." - Unknown

>Be 20 years old in time for the summer of '69
>Pick up some ridiculous 10/10 who's hitchhiking to Woodstock in my Plymouth Roadrunner I bought after working a summer job for a month
>She's immediately into me because she's from a small town and I'm the only man in her life who's not her father or brother
>Bring her home and marry her
>Go to get a job, hired off the street with no experience and get trained on company dime
>Buy 10 acres of land for less than what I make in a year
>rent out my land for decades
>retire and sit around house all day looking at my collection of boats and cars I never use" - Unknown
"Kids today just don't understand hard work and pulling themselves up by their bootstraps" - Unknown
b. Gen X
--------------------------
"FUCK AROUND WITH GEN-X AND FIND OUT. I saw this on a Millennial's post. I don't mess around with anyone over 42, they built different, their families had them formally trained in something by the time they were 2, they had keys to the house by age 5, could cook full meals at 7 and were pretty much self sufficient at 9. They left their house at dawn every Summer morning and didn't come back til nightfall and survived all day on water from garden hoses, they might get a sandwich on the off chance somebody's parents had went shopping, they spent three quarters of their lives by themselves with a parent maybe checking on them twice a month, most of them have evaded at least one kidnapping attempt, and, they know 15 different ways to remove blood stains from clothing. They the real fuck around and find out people." - Unknown
